This weekend, Carros is hosting its traditional and unmissable Strawberry and Flavor Festival. A key event in Carros’ festivities, the Strawberry and Flavor Festival will enliven the commune for three days.
Needless to say, the weekend promises to be festive and particularly delicious! The public—expected in large numbers again this year—will of course be able to taste and purchase the famous strawberries from the Carros district, and also participate in numerous activities.
This year, Lisa Angell Live and Cabaret for Ever will also be part of the grand opening evening. Other events on the program include a youth evening with a DJ, and especially the essential pistou soup evening at the Ecovie Hall.
Not to mention the many activities and various workshops in honor of the strawberries from the Carros district.
Here is the schedule for these three days of festivities:
Friday, April 27 at 8:00 PM, Ecovie Hall: Grand opening evening: Lisa Angell Live & Cabaret for Ever; at 9:00 PM, at Place Louis Frescolini: Youth evening organized by the Pari Mix’Cité association with DJ.
Saturday, April 28 at Place Louis Frescolini
Exhibition and sale of local products and strawberries with tasting.
Animal farm / Fairground activities.
2:30 PM / 3:30 PM / 4:30 PM
Culinary workshops for children with the chef from the restaurant Le Crystal d’Or.
8:30 PM at Ecovie Hall
Traditional pistou soup followed by a dance evening with the group Europa.
Sunday, April 29 at Place Frescolini
9:30 AM: Musical mass under the marquee; 12:00 PM: Honorary aperitif under the marquee organized by the festival committee; 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Exhibition and sale of local products and strawberries with tasting.
Animal farm / Fairground activities.
