The Pitchoun is the reference guide for outings, good deals, and great addresses. Very useful to have in your car when on a Saturday night, you wander without really knowing where to go, where no idea is truly exciting. For fifteen years, this guide for all the people of the Azure region has grown in stature. Therefore, it is celebrating its anniversary with a Pop-Rock concert of more than three hours on Friday, September 15.
On the program:
Robert Post: This Norwegian songwriter signed with Mercury is flooding the planet with his hit Got None (in all the European top 50 charts), and he will come for his biggest date in France on this occasion. He is cataloged by the biggest music magazines as the legitimate offspring of the Beatles, and his self-titled album is a real success. (He has just signed the new sound identity for Carte d’Or advertisements). More info at www.robert-post.com
Republic of Loose: This Irish band left a very strong impression at the last Nice Jazz Festival. They will come to support a second album very close to the Neptunes and the Black Eyed Peas. This mix of funk, soul, gospel, and rock earned them a Meteor (Irish Grammy Awards), crowned for their song Comeback Girl, which was the most played track of the year 2005 in Ireland. Amadeus Tappioka: This Nice trio delivers power pop rock at the crossroads of Muse, Radiohead, and M. They will launch their national tour on the occasion of this big concert. It is undoubtedly the most talented band in the region, as evidenced by their multiple appearances with Tarmac, at Nikaïa, or at the Francofolies de la Rochelle. More info at: www.amadeustappioka.com
The concert will start at 8:00 PM. Tickets are on sale for 17 euros at all usual sales points. These bands will surprise you…
