Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 9:30 AM at the Maritime Station & Terrasse Pantiero – Port of Cannes, the Port of Cannes is organizing a day dedicated to schoolchildren.
About 400 students from Cannes (16 classes) will have the opportunity to discover the Port of Cannes in a pedagogical and fun way.
This “heartfelt” operation will allow students to meet professionals, learn about activities/professions, and understand the history of their port. It is organized
in partnership with students from the Nautical Commercial Management Bachelor’s program at the Cannes IUT.
This day will focus on three main themes: history, port industry and education, and sustainable development.
The children will participate in themed workshops lasting 20 to 40 minutes each, simultaneously throughout the day. Each class will have a customized program. A sea outing is planned for
all the children.
