As part of the Moscow Days in France, Sergey Cheremin, Minister of Economic Affairs and International Relations of the Moscow Government, and Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, signed a cooperation agreement between the two cities, focusing on transportation and transportation infrastructure, tourism, culture, energy management, and economic sectors.
On this occasion, Sergey Cheremin emphasized, “Despite the current unfavorable economic situation, we want to ensure our continued cooperation across the various fields of our common interests.”
Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, also highlighted the importance of this partnership for his city: “Nice has already established a cooperation agreement with the city of St. Petersburg. It is a great privilege for me to sign this agreement with the Moscow Government today. Moscow is not only the ‘beating heart’ of historical Russia but also a city with a bright future ahead. I am convinced that our exchanges will bring great benefits to both our cities.”
Before signing this agreement, the Moscow city delegation participated in several conferences and roundtables.
The Moscow Days in Nice will conclude Sunday evening with an official reception in the gardens of Villa Masséna.
