For the second consecutive year, stage costumes from the Nice Opera are being offered for sale through an online auction process.
More than eight hundred pieces created for performances given between 2001 and 2006 by the staff of the Diacosmie (the production center of the Nice Côte d’Azur Opera) have been gathered and are visible on the site: www.agorastore.fr
Additionally, on the occasion of the Heritage Days on September 19 and 20, the Diacosmie is opening its doors to the public, who will be able to admire all the costumes for sale on site.
The auctions will be possible starting the following day, Monday, September 21, and will remain open until October 7.
Four starting bid prices are offered: 5, 15, 25, and 50 euros. This last amount applies only to six so-called exceptional costumes because they were worn by renowned personalities like, for example, Ruggiero Raimondi in Othello or Jeane Manson in Without Family.
