The Nice University Hospital launches a solidarity application

Latest News

The Nice University Hospital Center has created a mobile application to promote solidarity in Nice.

“Sauv Life” is the name of the application launched by the Nice University Hospital. Already downloaded by more than 5,000 Azuréens, this application provides help to victims of cardiac arrests through volunteering. Whether you have first aid training or not, if you have downloaded the application and activated your geolocation, you can be contacted by SMS if someone is experiencing a cardiac arrest within 10 minutes of your location. If you respond positively to this alert, you will be given the victim’s location and directions to reach them.

Through this application, you can also contact emergency services more quickly and provide a precise location of the victim.

An admirable initiative by the Nice University Hospital, which is aware of the statistics on survival chances after cardiac arrest: only 8%.
