
From November 25 to December 5, 2024, France 2 and the team of the ecumenical program “In the Footsteps of Jesus” will settle in Nice. Broadcast on December 29, this production explores the message of Jesus in contemporary life, highlighting the city and its inhabitants.
For six years, “In the Footsteps of Jesus” has invited viewers to revisit the message of Christ through the lens of French cities. After Lille, Montpellier, and Poitiers, it is now Nice’s turn to become the stage for this spiritual journey.
Led by journalist Christelle Ploquin, this program seeks to answer timeless questions: Who is Jesus? How does his message resonate today? Through encounters and iconic locations, the broadcast combines reflection and testimonies. Produced by Le Jour du Seigneur-Présence Protestante, it will be aired on Sunday, December 29 at 10 a.m. on France 2.
A Unique Opportunity to Explore Nice
The filming takes place from this Monday, November 25 to December 5 in various iconic locations in Nice and its surroundings, such as the old town, the promenade des Anglais, and the Lucéram nativity scene tour.
Christelle Ploquin will be available to meet the locals and answer questions during several engagements. Friday, November 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the streets of Old Nice and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. near the “I Love Nice” sign on the promenade des Anglais. Then the following day, Saturday, November 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at restaurant Lou Kalou on Saint-François de Paule street with chef Milad Ajoury and from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Lucéram on the nativity scene trail.
