The cultural project at the CHU of Nice enhances the quality of life and well-being of patients and residents, accompanying the life of the institution while encouraging openness to art, considered as a complementary resource to hospital practices.
Since 2006, the ACM Ballet company has been working in geriatric hospital services, and AG2R La Mondiale has trusted these artists from the very beginning.
Thanks to this partner, who provides exclusive support for this first at the CHU of Nice, four professional dancers from the ACM Ballet Company will perform:
Monday, January 31, 2011 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM in unit A3, Pavillon Mossa
Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM in unit A2, Pavillon Mossa
In this context, after performing in various hospitals in the Île-de-France region and the CHU of Toulouse, the long-stay services of Cimiez Hospital will welcome, for the first time, four professional dancers from the Parisian company ACM Ballet for two full days.
In collaboration with the medical and animation staff, they will engage with the corridors, rooms, and common areas, reaching out to everyone, even the most weakened or isolated residents.
Specially created choreographies, designed as if for spaces dedicated to performance, will bring moments of pleasure and emotion through dance to the elderly, as well as to the entire hospital community.
