A job portal on the French Riviera

Job-seeking executives from Nice have envisioned a project to create an internet portal that gathers all information and current news about employment, training, and integration in the Alpes-Maritimes department.

Following a workshop organized by ANPE Cadres under the auspices of the ACOPAD association, eight Nice-based executives looking for work envisioned a project to create an internet portal dedicated to employment, training, and integration in the 06 area code.

Their names are Anne, Danielle, Denise, Nicole, Marie-Christine, Christophe, Franck, and Thierry, and it is their diverse backgrounds that brought them together at the Acopad association for a Marketing Employment Executives workshop, which allowed them to structure and energize their job searches.

“I had been thinking about creating this portal for several months, but alone, it was a bit difficult to implement. I was lucky to meet a very friendly group at Acopad, and consequently, the idea turned into a project that is now a reality,” said Franck Viano, the initiator of this project, who is a genuine local product since he originally created Nice Première.

The General Council, spurred by its councilor, Jean-Pierre Mangiapan, has given its approval and funding to this project.

“We aim to offer a real platform for employment, training, and integration online, featuring job news, local ads, a CV depot, interviews with personalities and business leaders, and especially, a forum where internet-using job seekers can share information. Many institutions to which we presented our project have welcomed it favorably, and we deeply thank the General Council and Jean-Pierre Mangiapan for their cooperation and dynamism,” said Viano.

A spirited and united collective has formed in Nice, and the employment portal may well open its virtual doors as soon as next January.

In the current context surrounding employment, this is a welcome initiative from Nice, which has come to light thanks to the work and perseverance of these eight job seekers, who should not be jobless for much longer!
