The Nice City Hall has once again been the scene of a search by the financial brigade of the judicial police.
The trigger for this case of “illegal taking of interest” appears to be the purchase of several advertising spaces in national media, which prompted multiple investigations and hearings within the city’s communication department headed by Jean-Charles Petitpierre, who was also questioned by investigators.
Anne-Marie Vaille, his assistant, has been taken into custody at the Auvare police station pending further developments in this case that is once again shaking the corridors of the city hall.
Following Vialatte, Monleau, and others, it seems that a new legal drama may be emerging in a department that had been spared until now.
No information has been released by the Nice public prosecutor’s office, and the city’s communication department did not wish to respond to our questions.
Case to follow…
