In support of Ukraine, the principality of Monaco is organizing a performance at the Grimaldi Forum.
On June 10, 7 Ukrainian artists from the Recirquel Company will perform in the Prince Pierre room of the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Through a one-hour show, these circus artists express their love for Ukraine, their country of origin, by combining circus disciplines with classical and contemporary dance to create a new genre of live performance called “circus dance”.
One might think that this show has just been created, yet it was born in 2018, but takes on a particular significance with the current war in Ukraine.
Choreographed by Bence Vági, founder and artistic director of the Recirquel Company, My Land has met with phenomenal success since its premiere and has been performed over 200 times across Europe.
The proceeds from this performance will be fully donated by the Grimaldi Forum to the Monaco Red Cross which will send them to Ukraine.
