November 25 will be dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The city of Nice is offering a program in honor of this event for the week of November 21 to 27.
Unfortunately, acts of sexist, sexual, and domestic violence continue to be widespread, affecting a large number of women. Therefore, since 2008, Christian Estrosi has positioned the city of Nice at the forefront of this fight as an indispensable public actor. This week will be an opportunity to learn through discussions and reflections around this essential theme. This event contributes to:
- Eliminating violence against women.
- Promoting real equality between women and men in local life. Strengthening public information on women’s rights victims of violence.
- Recognizing the multiplying role of associative and institutional partners in protecting female victims of domestic violence.
