A well-controlled match by Cavigal.

This tenth matchday of the championship saw Cavigal Nice Handball secure a home victory in the derby against Monaco. A match well executed by the Niçois, who provided us with an entertaining show tonight.

A high-intensity match that left no room for boredom. The game started off with a bang, with 18 goals scored in the first 16 minutes. The teams traded blows, and the score stood at (9-9) at the start of the second part of the first half. But Gérald Jean Zéphirin’s men awakened under the leadership of their captain, Alexis Bon, who had already scored three goals. They inflicted a six-goal deficit by halftime, leading with a score of (20-14).

The second half continues its momentum

Monaco started the second half excellently and gave the Niçois a hard time. However, they were no match for the talents of Maxime Aicardi, who delighted his supporters with a series of increasingly spectacular saves. Thanks to this, he allowed the team to regain their composure and continue their momentum towards victory in this National 2 championship match. From the fortieth minute onward, Cavigal controlled the match and kept Monaco at a safe distance—a team effort led by captain Alexis Bon, who scored 9 goals by the end of the match.

This was the last home match of the first half of the season. See you on December 9 to watch Cavigal Nice Handball face Avignon away.
