“Know, Understand, Act,” three words on the homepage of the Alpes-Maritimes website that define its policy on access to law and form the basis of its actions both across the territory, throughout the department, and targeted at specific populations.
“Having knowledge and awareness of one’s rights and obligations is to affirm one’s freedom as a citizen.”
For the most disadvantaged and those economically and culturally excluded, it is about regaining this civic dignity.
This website was designed to offer a dynamic communication and information tool to facilitate access to Justice and Law.
Free and accessible to all, it provides guidance to local reception facilities and, via practical fact sheets available online, offers a general understanding of the rights governing daily life. However, the CDAD06 site also aims to be interactive: a forum allows users to ask general questions about specific rights.
Responses will be provided as soon as possible by a team of specialists and legal professionals. A space reserved for members, authorized by the CDAD, who will be given an access code, will enable dialogue and the flow of information between the actors of the institutional and associative network (for more details, see the “Help” tab at the bottom of the page).
For more information, visit the CDAD06 website.
