On Sunday, January 2, to celebrate the new year, a New Year’s concert will be held at the Nice opera house, where music from the greatest Italian films will be played.
To complement the la vita è bella cycle currently scheduled at the Nice cinematheque, a New Year’s concert will be performed.
Conducted by Daniele Callegari, the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the most beautiful songs from the classics of Italian cinema. Cinema Paradiso, Once Upon a Time in America, 8½, La Strada… Music by Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, and Nicola Piovani will be played during this la vita è bella performance.
Tickets can only be reserved at the opera house box office and are subject to availability. This concert is free of charge.
