The Malagasy athlete was the only one from Nice Côte d’Azur Athletics to reach the podium during a competition that nonetheless saw Aurélien Fabreguettes finish fourth in the discus throw (46.57 m).
In the shot put, Mathilde Bilon took seventh place with a throw of 13.44 m, her best performance this season, while Chloé Dubois finished twelfth in the 1,500 m final (4’46″91) after setting a personal best in the preliminaries (4’43″68).
Qualified for the 400 m final after completing a heat in 55″98, the Italian Sofia Bonicalza unfortunately had to withdraw, feeling unwell. Cloé Pustel (12″50 in the 100 m) and Paul Chem-Lenhof (1’52″63 in the 800 m) did not manage to get past the first round, while Nans Brenier was unable to clear any height in the pole vault final.
