– Masséna Square is becoming an emblematic venue for events in Nice once again.
While major events have just taken place in the Albert 1er Gardens (Italy at the Table, Bionazur, Ironman Village…) and the Nice Jazz Festival is moving from the Cimiez Arenas back to the city center, a major boxing gala is kicking off the 100% Sport Masséna event on Thursday, June 30!
Masséna 100% Sport is a series of tournaments, demonstrations, and initiations of various beach sports: beach volleyball, beach soccer, foot-volley, sandball, beach wrestling… and an exceptional lineup of high-level athletes (Xavier Barachet for SandBall, Vitoria Ravva for Beach Volleyball, Sylvain Wiltord for Foot Volley…).
The only paid event of the occasion (10 to 15 €), the professional boxing gala, organized by the Nice Boxing Club, offers the public the opportunity to watch internationally renowned boxing matches, including Nice’s own Denis Saioni, who will be vying for the WBF international title belt.
