From November 22 to 24, Lascaris Street hosts a unique event. “A Bivouac in the City” offers a new way to discover California, with workshops, meetings, and cultural activities. An inauguration evening is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 PM.
For three days, California comes to Nice thanks to Visit California, Delta Airlines, and Nomade Aventure. This event, which combines discovery and conviviality, promises a diverse program for all travel enthusiasts and the curious alike.
The opening evening on Friday, November 22 at 7:30 PM, will kick off the festivities with a presentation of the Californian destination, followed by a cocktail reception and a DJ set. It’s a perfect time to dream about your next trip while interacting with tourism professionals.
An Immersion into the Heart of the Californian Spirit
On Saturday and Sunday, visitors can join numerous free activities. A competition will offer the chance to win two airline tickets to Los Angeles.
The workshops will highlight Californian art and lifestyle: yoga, street art initiation, ceramics inspired by local traditions, Californian wine tasting, and more. A photo exhibition will also provide a glimpse into the landscapes and culture of this iconic state.
The event takes place at 6 bis, Lascaris Street, in the Port district of Nice. Admission is free, with extended hours on Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday until 6 PM.
