The official ceremony of commemoration and tribute to all those who died for France will take place in the village of Carros this Sunday, November 11, 2018, according to the following schedule:
10:00 AM | Mass celebrated in memory of the soldiers who died in the fields of honor during the 14-18 war at Saint-Claude Church.
11:00 AM | The bell of Saint-Claude will ring “À toute volée” for 11 minutes to celebrate the Armistice and the end of the centenary of the First World Conflict. The procession will depart towards the village cemetery.
11:15 AM | Ceremony and laying of wreaths at the War Memorial.
At the conclusion of the celebration, a buffet will be offered by the municipality at the village community center.
