The Association of Japanese Residents of Nice Côte d’Azur (A.R.J.N.C.A) is organizing a charity recital in support of Japan with the support of the city of Nice on Saturday, July 9, 2011.

Masanobu NISHIGAKI, an internationally renowned classical guitarist, is in Nice this summer to give lessons and private recitals.

Having himself been affected by the great earthquake in Kobe in 1995, he often travels to northern Japan to provide aid and support to the victims.

With a few free days during his stay in Nice, he wished to give a classical guitar recital in support of his compatriots. The program includes: Bach, Tarrega, Faure…

The Chapelle de la Miséricorde is located at Cours Saleya.

Usually closed on this date, the prior and the board of directors of the chapel have granted a favor to A.R.J.N.C.A for the exceptional opening of the chapel for this evening.

Price: 10 euros or more. (Free for children under 12)
