After the fire on July 15th, rehabilitation work is scheduled all this week in Saint-Laurent du Var. These interventions must be carried out outside tension zones. Consequently, the beaches and the wastewater treatment plant are closed.
“After the manual cleaning of the premises last week by the operator, a specialized company will now intervene. The damaged electronic equipment will be replaced as the cleaning progresses.”
It should be noted that the incident started on an electrical cabinet at the Saint-Laurent du Var wastewater treatment plant. It contained 15 electronic boards, each with 64 outputs. “The fire spread soot throughout all the cabinets in the room, which, being electrically conductive, can cause malfunctions.” Everything should be back to normal by the end of the week.
