Wannenes is the name of one of the main and recognized auction houses in Italy.
A few days ago, the house announced the creation of the Classic & Sports Cars department led by Giorgio Calligaris, in partnership with the Monegasque company Art Contact.
Coming from a family that has been present in the automotive industry for three generations, Giorgio Calligaris has acquired twenty-five years of experience in the field of modern and classic cars.
His business is based in the Principality of Monaco as an expert for Art Contact. Thanks to his skills and a well-established international network, Giorgio Calligaris guarantees his most demanding clients all the expertise and requests concerning his field of activity.
The new department is organizing its first sale in the Principality of Monaco, which will take place this Saturday, July 14, at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort: a total of almost 50 vehicles are presented, including about ten Italian and international models, avant-garde from the history of the automobile to the most famous brands, including iconic supercars from the late 20th century and those of our time.
On the eve of this first auction, namely next Friday, Wannenes is planning a sale of prestigious jewelry and watches from famous brands, such as Cartier, Bulgari, and Van Cleef & Arpels.
This sale will take place in the Salle Sincerity, Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, on July 13.
Guido Wannenes, CEO of the house, declares: “Our arrival in the Principality of Monaco marks an important step in the international development policy of the company. We have created a strategic partnership to expand the services offered to our clients, whether they are collectors or market operators. And with the department of classic and sports cars, we are finally entering a sector that is experiencing strong growth, both for its aesthetic and collectible value, with the rigor and seriousness that have always distinguished the Wannenes brand.”
