As in the previous year, the election of the Queen of the Nice Carnival is taking place online, on www.nicecarnaval.com. From January 12 to February 10, 2011, internet users worldwide can vote for their favorite candidate among nine selected young women.

In 2010, more than 11,400 votes came from around the world. The majority were European, with nearly 8,000 French, more than 1,500 Italians, a thousand British, about fifty Irish, and also votes from Cyprus and Slovakia.
The participation was also international, with votes coming from the United Arab Emirates, China, India, and Sri Lanka… totaling 52 countries.
The presentation of the Queen and her two runners-up will take place on February 11.
A random draw will reward ten voters:
1st prize: a stay at the 5* Negresco Hotel, for two nights in a double room for two people
(including breakfast) + round trip airport-hotel transfers.
2nd prize: a “Revolution” menu for 2 people at the Aphrodite restaurant (1* Michelin).
3rd prize: 4 grandstand seats during a Battle of Flowers during the 2011 Carnival or 4 French Riviera Passes for 48 hours.
4th to 10th prize: 4 tickets for the Holiday on Ice show, on March 26 in Nice.
