The events took place last summer on August 10th when a 29-year-old Berliner climbed onto the stage during a concert to grab the microphone from the singer. Then, he assaulted a spectator and attacked the security guards. He has just been sentenced by the criminal court in Monaco.
That evening, in the Salle des Étoiles, the spectators had come to attend the concert featuring Valery Meladze, the pop group Via Gra, and Russian icon Albina Dzhanabaeva.
A night that was interrupted by this intoxicated man who climbed onto the stage to grab the microphone from the singer’s hands and forced the musicians to stop their concert.
When security intervened to escort him out, the individual climbed back onto the stage. The security guards had to work together to get him down. In the process, one of them was knocked to the ground and is suffering from dental issues, while another employee was injured in the shoulder. The young man also sexually assaulted a woman by groping her chest.
He has just been sentenced by the Monaco court to pay a fine of 1,000 euros, a dental expertise cost, and a provision of 1,500 euros.
During the hearing, the defendant revealed he had no memory of the altercation, though he admits to having drunk a lot and approached the artist.
For his defense, his lawyer pointed out that he had never been in trouble before and urged the court to be lenient.
