
The municipal services have planned to carry out 38 construction operations in public school establishments. These works will take place during the winter school holidays.
These renovations aim to improve and modernize the schools, focusing on the well-being of the students. With a budget of over 560,000 euros, the city is eager to provide its support.
Restorations to be Anticipated
The work includes the replacement of window frames at Ray Gorbella kindergarten. Waterproofing touch-ups will be implemented in Pasteur and Jean Moulin 1 elementary schools, Ronchèse primary, and Caucade kindergarten. Redevelopment and renovation work will take place at the Auber school group and Jean-François Knecht elementary. Additionally, fourteen repainting operations are planned in seven schools, including Risso, Righi, Rothschild 1 primary schools, as well as Jean-François Knecht, Saint Philippe, Saint Barthélémy 1, and Saint Isidore elementary schools.
An Ecological and Social Initiative
The greening of Caucade and Jules Verne elementary schools is also planned. Furthermore, about ten miscellaneous operations will occur in other establishments. Among them, the installation of shade sails and anti-pigeon systems will be constructed. The setting up of a bike shelter and new IT cabling will take place within the schools.
Works are scheduled throughout the year in the schools of the City of Nice. This aims to preserve the quality of the school building, the comfort of the students and the educational community. This work plan demonstrates the city’s commitment to providing a quality school environment. Safety is also important and must be adapted to the needs of the students and the educational staff.
