For six months, 12 young people aged 18 to 25, part of Unis Cité* Méditerranée’s Civic Service, took on the major challenge of bringing ecology to the neighborhoods of Les Moulins and L’Ariane in Nice!

These “Médiaterre” met with residents to encourage them to adopt eco-friendly actions (such as standby power reduction, installing energy-saving bulbs and faucet aerators, etc.) to help them reduce both their bills and ecological footprint.

The Nice Côte d’Azur Urban Community, the General Council of Alpes Maritimes, Côte d’Azur Habitat, and private partners (EDF, Fondation des Aéroports Côte d’Azur, Fondation MACIF) supported the Médiaterre in their mission.

Among them, Ikrame, Marine, and Jérôme took on this challenge, helping more than thirty families from Les Moulins and L’Ariane benefit from informed advice to lower their energy bills!

To celebrate the completion of their mission, the Médiaterre, supported families, project partners, and elected officials will gather this Wednesday, June 22, at the Maison de l’Environnement in Nice for a convivial event.
