In a unique collaboration, the Innovation Incubator and the League Against Cancer of the Alpes-Maritimes launch “Entreprendre et Cancer”.

This is an innovative program designed to support individuals affected by the disease in their journey towards professional resilience. This initiative, born from the experience and commitment of the two associations, aims to offer a safe accompaniment to those considering a professional evolution after their battle with cancer.

Facilitating Professional Transition: “Entreprendre et Cancer” in Action

The Innovation Incubator and the League Against Cancer of the Alpes-Maritimes thus combine their expertise to design and implement this unique support program. “Entreprendre et Cancer” welcomes and guides individuals at the crossroads of their professional paths, offering tangible opportunities for a successful career change.

A Crucial Response to an Alarming Reality

Each day, over 1200 people learn that they have cancer. Among them, more than 400 continue to work despite the challenges posed by the disease. Patients must manage a considerable mental load, both related to the disease and to continuing their professional lives. This reality underscores the crucial importance of programs like “Entreprendre et Cancer” to relieve this pressure and ease the journey towards resilience. It is also notable that this initiative predominantly benefits women, who often face more difficulties when it comes to returning to work after cancer treatment.

An Inclusive and Impactful Approach

Founded two decades ago, the Innovation Incubator’s core mission is to give everyone aspiring to undertake a chance to succeed. This business incubator provides a unique and secure environment, allowing project leaders to test their activity without engaging in the complex steps of creating a business.

Towards a More Promising Future

“Entreprendre et Cancer” thus positions itself as a benchmark in accompanying professional resilience, paving the way for new opportunities in 2024 and proving that remission goes beyond physical healing, also encompassing personal and professional reconstruction.

In partnership with the League Against Cancer, the Innovation Incubator has initiated the “Entreprendre et Cancer” program, expanding its scope to address the specific needs of those affected by the disease.

Over its two decades of existence, the Innovation Incubator has supported more than 1200 entrepreneurs in their initial steps. It continues to welcome over 100 new entrepreneurs each year. This attests to the positive impact and relevance of its inclusive approach in the entrepreneurial landscape.
