The nursery “Le Patio” accommodates 36 children aged 0 to 3 years and is an essential facility for young children placed under care. It plays a role in observation and direction for child welfare, either at the parents’ request or by judicial decision.
It provides an environment with fixed and secure points of reference and a living framework adapted to the needs of a child in care. This delicate phase also contributes to the implementation of a project for the young child and their family.
For many years, the Alpes-Maritimes General Council and the Lenval Foundation have been cooperating in favor of maternal and child protection and adolescent support.
In 2012, the Department will allocate a budget of nearly 86 million euros for child welfare.
