The third edition of the Super Smash Bros “Riviera by ASU” tournament welcomed 48 players who competed in Nintendo’s fighting game. The atmosphere was lively, and the edition was a success.
The Scal’s birthday edition of the Riviera is the third of its kind. It takes place, as always, in the gaming bar “Alt F4” located between Ikea and the Allianz Riviera stadium. Yesterday, there were indeed 48 players of all levels competing in the game Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The tournament was organized using a set system where the first to achieve two wins advances to the next round. The atmosphere was lively. A moment of exchange and conviviality around video games.

The Twitch stream of content creator Scal broadcast the sets. And between victories and defeats, there was no shortage of celebrations. Some came to participate, others to gain experience, and others still to win. The atmosphere was already electric on X with the top-ranked players bantering about each other’s losses. As we reached the final stages, it was now the first to achieve three victories who advanced to the next round. This is where things got tougher and we saw who managed to keep their cool the best.
But who performed at this tournament?
Just like the previous edition, it was Europe’s best Mewtwo, Eru Reido, who won. He has already won four tournaments since the beginning of the year. In second place came the Lucario player, Tiko, followed by Kirby, Rahou, who completed this top 3. The question now is who will manage to dethrone Eru and his Mewtwo?
