This Saturday, May 13, 2023, the 19th European Night of Museums will take place. Thus, the museums of Nice will welcome you until nightfall to offer you an unusual museum experience.
Launched in 2005, the European Night of Museums is a national event organized by the Ministry of Culture. This evening aims to democratize culture and attract new audiences to museums. In this sense, the operation “La classe, l’œuvre!” in partnership with the Ministry of National Education and Youth, is renewed this year. It has allowed many classes and museums to develop projects that will be presented during the Night of Museums, thus encouraging the attendance of a school and family audience.
As every year, the City of Nice opens the doors of its museums for free in the evening. On the program: visits to various current exhibitions, screenings and activities from nightfall and for some until midnight.
