A grand presentation of the aquatic activities offered year-round at the municipal pools of Nice will take place today on Lenval Beach in the presence of Christian Estrosi.
This Saturday, on Lenval Beach, the city of Nice invites you to discover the activities offered throughout the year in all of Nice’s municipal pools.
About a dozen Lifeguard Instructors, employees of the City of Nice, are voluntarily organizing free aquatic activities for all audiences (children, seniors, etc.).
On the program:
· Aquatic Garden (from 4 years old) > From 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, per session of approximately half an hour
The aquatic garden allows children to familiarize themselves with the aquatic environment during a very playful session, to become more autonomous, and to prepare for learning different swimming strokes.
· Energetic Aquagym > From 12:30 PM
Energetic aquagym is a comprehensive sporting activity, ideal for staying fit, toning muscles, and burning calories in the water.
· Aquabike > At 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM (session of 45 minutes)
Aquabike involves riding a (stationary) bike in the water. The cardiovascular benefits of this sports activity are undeniable. The movements performed in the water have a massaging effect. Fats are burned, and the body is toned!
· Aquafun (water dancing) > At 6:15 PM (session of 45 minutes)

The number of places is limited. Registrations will take place on site starting at 9:00 AM.
