From October 16 to 22, the world is celebrating World Breastfeeding Week. In this context, MUM MOOD, the first European fair dedicated to breastfeeding, will be held this Saturday, October 21, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Grand Arénas.
This fair illustrates the desire to inform about a period of maternity that raises many questions, breastfeeding. Whether experienced as a pleasure or a challenge, breastfeeding is a choice. And this choice must be informed. Indeed, there are still many prejudices and myths surrounding breastfeeding. This first European fair dedicated to breastfeeding aims both to inform and to raise awareness. It intends to bring together breastfeeding scientists, breastfeeding associations, creators, brands, as well as a photography exhibition.

– Suzanne Colson, midwife and PhD candidate, creator of Biological Nurturing for a new essential topic “Rediscovering Instinctive Breastfeeding”.
– Céline Verguet, PhD in anthropology, researcher, member of the interdisciplinary research laboratory in social intervention. The conference will focus on the father’s role in breastfeeding.
– Claude Didierjean Jouveau, editor-in-chief of Allaiter aujourd’hui and author, will discuss “The Nights of Breastfed Babies and Their Parents”.
