In 10 days, the French will celebrate Valentine’s Day. The West End Hotel in Nice has prepared a special event for the day of love.
Servers disguised as tenors. That’s the concept of the West End Hotel, located in Nice. The first hotel to be established on the Promenade des Anglais in 1842 has indeed planned a special evening for the celebration of February 14th. In addition to the 121 rooms available and the splendid view of the Baie des Anglais, the establishment, in collaboration with the restaurant Le Siècle, offers Mediterranean dishes accompanied by artistic performances. On this special evening, couples will be able to admire performances by Laurie Jauffret, a soprano opera singer, and Gille San Juan, a tenor, whom you surely saw in season 8 of The Voice. Initially, the two artists will transform into servers before taking off the aprons to sing. On the menu, The Jewel Song from Faust, La donna è mobile from Rigoletto, and Brindisi from La Traviata.
Speaking of the menu, young chef Rommain Tumeo has concocted a special “love” meal for the couples in the room. Foie gras lollipops, a cod papillote with vanilla sauce, and finishing with a heart-shaped macaron. Various options will be available to compose your special Valentine’s Day menu.
