As expected, the RC Lens coach becomes the new coach of the Gym. After several days of negotiations, Franck Haise has signed a two-year contract to lead the Aiglons.
This had been anticipated over the past few days, and it’s now official. Franck Haise is the new coach of OGC Nice. The French technician is thus leaving RC Lens to move to the Côte d’Azur. The coach is said to have signed for the next two seasons with the Aiglons.
The Gym reportedly spent around two million to convince Lens to release their coach. It took several days to finalize the details for each party involved in this deal. Franck Haise will succeed Francesco Farioli. It should be noted that the coach arrives with his two assistants, Lilian Nalis and Johann Ramaré.
A major move for the Gym
By signing him, OGC Nice makes a significant move. The former Lens coach is one of the best French coaches in the league. He was sought after, notably by OM, in recent weeks. In Nice, he will reunite with Fabrice Bouquet, the General Manager of Nice, whom he worked alongside when both men were at Lorient.
A new sporting director has also been appointed following the departure of Florent Ghisolfi to Roma. The chosen one is Florian Maurice. The executive, who left Stade Rennais, is joining OGC Nice.
