After the publication of an expert report on the risk of nuclear waste saturation and a map entitled “Are there any waste sites near you?”, Greenpeace France continues to engage in the public debate on radioactive materials and waste.
While several public meetings are taking place throughout France, Greenpeace France activists are mobilizing in Nice and in 22 other French cities to raise awareness and inform citizens about this burden left to future generations and the local issues related to waste, particularly storage sites and radioactive shipments.
In Nice, the meeting is scheduled for 4 PM at Place de la Libération, Place du Général De Gaulle.
