In Nice, the Harleys have heart.

It was undoubtedly the year 1989 that triggered in Nice one of the most beautiful waves of solidarity, which continues, moreover, to prove itself through its sustainability.

Claude Abejan came back from a “Bikers” meeting in Auvergne and then the accident happened. He then founded the association under the law of 1901, “Les Harleys du Coeur,” to help the disabled, and subsequently those he calls “the disabled by life,” meaning orphans.

Each year, Les Harleys du Coeur organize numerous events for them, and each year they also take them to the mountains for a snow festival.

“You would see how happy they are when we put them on our motorcycles for a ride!” This is the essence of the heart of this biker who gives a lot of his time to make the daily lives of these children less painful than it sometimes already is.

“It’s normal,” repeats Claude ABEJAN, “you can’t ride a bike worth at least 20,000 euros (some are worth more than double) and not give a little to the disabled. But for us, giving is not always about money; giving time helps us. Let’s face it, what the disabled lack most cruelly is not money or comfort, for they have all kinds of care structures where their lives are regulated like a carburetor, what they sometimes lack is an accessory, a little help.”

Nice Première supports Les Harleys du Cœur and invites you to visit the very beautiful site www.harleyducoeur.com, which was given to them by a webmaster whom we would like to congratulate for this initiative.

In Nice, the Bikers have hearts as big as their engines.
