The tenth edition of the Football tournament, which traditionally brings together the staff of the city of Nice, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, and the CCAS, will take place this Saturday at the Charles Ehrmann sports park.
This tournament stems from the desire to create connections among the agents of different services outside the work environment. The goal is to promote the development of inter-service and inter-entity cohesion (City of Nice, CCAS, and Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis).
This year, there are two novelties for the 32* teams participating:
27 teams will play in the main tournament. These teams will be divided into groups and will meet in the morning. The top teams from each group will qualify for the elite tournament, and the others will participate in the consolation tournament. The “elite” and “consolation” tournaments will be played in the afternoon, with knockout matches leading to each tournament’s final. The winners of the finals will win the “elite” and the “consolation” tournaments.
5 exclusively female teams will play in a women’s mini-tournament: 1 group of 5 teams, each team meeting once (4 matches for each team). The team finishing at the top of this group will win the women’s mini-tournament.
At 9:30 AM, the group matches will start. Matches will resume at 2 PM with knockout rounds.
The final is scheduled for 5:30 PM, and the awards ceremony will take place around 6 PM.
