Jammin’Juan: a young jazz festival

Latest News

This musical event will take place from October to December 2016. On the schedule are three major evenings at the Palais des Congrès in Juan-les-Pins, during which the most promising bands from all jazz horizons will perform.

The goal of this festival is to encourage the vibrant forces of jazz and allow young artists to become known on national and international stages and perform there. The Jammin’JUAN event offers the opportunity, starting this winter, to introduce the public to the artists.

Jean-René Palacio, the artistic director of Jazz à Juan, announced “a line-up rich in quality artists, who are set to become the jazz stars of tomorrow.”

Deborah de Blasi and her guitarist, Louis Winsberg, will kick things off on Saturday, October 29.

Fred d’Oelnistz’s trio will share the stage with the trio De Beren Gieren and the artist Festen on November 19 for the second evening.

The Jammin’JUAN season will conclude on December 17 with David Amar and his trio: Milap and One Million Faces, Franck Woeste, a German pianist, and Thomas Galliano, a drummer.

These evenings are very accessible to the general public with a ticket price of €20 and a subscription option of €50 for all three evenings.
