This Friday, May 12th, at 11:30 AM at the Victims’ Welcome House, 6 rue Gubernatis

As drivers and pedestrians, seniors are particularly vulnerable to road insecurity. As part of the Local Council for Safety and Crime Prevention, the City of Nice, in collaboration with a volunteer retirees’ association, is launching its first Road Safety Workshop aimed at seniors.

The objective of this innovative and free workshop is to enable seniors to feel safer in public spaces, to maintain their autonomy and their ability to adopt the right reflexes.

This dynamic awareness workshop is the first step in a program that will eventually offer free driving refresher courses, as well as city walks to prevent risky behavior as pedestrians and provide behavioral advice.
