The Mas des Escaravatiers, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, reopened its doors a few days ago for a new concert season. On the program: Camilla Jordana, Olivia Ruiz, Camille Bazbaz, Lilly Wood and the Prick, Roverโฆ

The Mas is like that patch of garden that one claims for its authenticity. The artists come first. Listening to them, coming to the Mas is often tinged with impatience. Among those who have already performed under the olive trees, many left enchanted and didn’t hesitate to return. Among the dozen loyal artists, for 2012 we can expect the return of Izia, Revolver, Grace, Bumcello, Missill, and Elisa Do Brasil. Plus, the family is growing this year with the arrival of Paris Combo, Morgan Heritage, Groundation, The Shoes, Debout sur le Zinc, Le Peuple de Lโherbe, Inna Modjaโฆ
The icing on the cake, the Mas has prepared a surprise for this tenth edition, sparing no expense. On August 25th, the Puget Live Festival, organized by the Mas des Escaravatiers in collaboration with the town of Puget sur Argens, will dignifiedly close this 2012 season. Bibi Tanga, Yuri Buenaventura, Max Romeo, and Lee โScratchโ Perry will be the headliners of a concert set to take place in a pine forest intended to accommodate 3,000 people. And because good news never comes alone, the Mas will open its doors on September weekends for brunch to everyone’s delight.
Looking back, no one imagined such success. It is a dream come true for the one who founded the Mas des Escaravatiers in hopes of rekindling a family spirit. As the first assessment unfolds, the result is undeniable, the Mas is a story that endures.
