The French Championship of League of Legends (LOL) is back on the coast in 2024. The previous edition met with great success, attracting hundreds of thousands of viewers on Twitch and 9000 attendees in person. We are dealing with the quintessential eSport video game. The LOL scene is the giant of eSport, and it is coming here to Nice.
The number of visits on streams is increasing, numbering in the millions, and the Twitch channels hosting the event are multiplying. The growth of this eSport scene continues to rise despite the game being 14 years old.
What’s on the program?
On the program are the largest French teams competing against each other. The list includes teams like: Gameward, Izidream, LDLC-OL, BDS Academy, Team Vitality.Bee, Aegis, Solary, BK ROG, and the famous Karmine Corp, the team of streamer Kameto.
But this year, the league will welcome two new teams! The first is the Team du Sud (TDS), which is coming to Nice. Secondly, the eSport team of Squeezie, Gotaga, and Brawks is joining the others: Gentle Mates. A star-studded lineup for an already legendary edition. You can find the event on February 7 and 8 at the Palais Nikaia. If you prefer to watch from the comfort of your home, it will be broadcast on otplol and Kameto‘s channels.
