After spending his childhood in the Petite Camargue, Alain Fournier travels the world with his camera slung over his shoulder.
A return to the village where he grew up in 2005 sparked his passion for photography, alongside his love for animals. In 2006, he received the jury prize at the Camargue Festival. Other accolades followed, including a mention at the Montier-en-Der International Wildlife Photography Festival in 2008 for the theme of the year. Also in 2008, he was named the best ‘Nature Paper Author FPF’.
His photos are distributed by the Naturimages and BIOS agencies. He also collaborates with various magazines, such as ‘Imagine & Nature’, ‘Art Animalier’, and ‘Nat’Images’. He is also the co-author, alongside Déclics, of the book Camargue, published in 2009.
