Municipal employees thanked for their commitment during the July 14th ceremonies

Gathering yesterday morning at the Villa Masséna of municipal agents who voluntarily lent their efforts during the tribute of last July 14th for public thanks from local authorities and the prefect of Alpes-Maritimes.

Their commitment allowed the perfect organization of a ceremony that held symbolic value in more ways than one for Nice and for France.

It deserves to be highlighted in a context of social timidity where generosity often falls short in favor of individual selfishness and corporate interests.

A remarkable demonstration, according to the prefect of Alpes-Maritimes, Georges-François Leclerc: “It was a very beautiful and successful ceremony, but difficult to organize,” he confessed.

Addressing the agents, the mayor, Christian Estrosi, praised their efficiency: “You have been up to the standard of Nice, and I am sure, to the standard expected by the families.”

Solidarity which was also expressed through the presentation of a check benefiting the association.

Following the charity football match organized on June 17th, at the Allianz Riviera by the Municipal Office of Sports, Culture and Leisure, Promenade des Anges collected 100,000 euros. An amount destined to support the project carried by Promenade des Anges in order to assist the children affected by the attack and help them rebuild.
