Since April 28, 2014, Nice has been directly connected with Belarus. Belavia, the national airline of Belarus, has launched a regular service between Nice and Minsk. Flights will be operated 3 times a week (Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from Terminal 2) on a new-generation Embraer E-175 offering 12 seats in business class and 64 in economy class.
This new service will be particularly appreciated by tourists wanting to travel directly to the South of France, Monaco, or northern Italy. Conversely, it will also allow travel to the Ice Hockey World Championship which will take place in Minsk in May 2014. Minsk is also an important hub for traveling to Russia, the Caucasus, or Central Asia, as well as to the Middle East. Join flights to Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Vilnius, Riga, Helsinki, Kiev, Tel Aviv, Baku, and Tbilisi, among others, but also Pavlodar, Astana, Kostanay (Kazakhstan); Batumi and Kutaisi (Georgia).
Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur is delighted to expand its network towards Central and Eastern Europe, new promising markets complementary to Russia, whose links with the Côte d’Azur continue to strengthen. Minsk, a rich cultural and tourist destination to discover, is three hours from Nice, offering regular visitors to the Nice platform an ever broader reach!
