The government is taking a new step in the gradual lifting of health restrictions this Wednesday, February 16; certain health measures concerning transportation, performance halls, nightclubs, and bars will be lifted.
Indeed, after the end of capacity limits in venues open to the public, the obligation to work from home, and the requirement to wear masks outdoors on February 2, three new health restrictions will be lifted:
It will once again be possible to buy and consume food and drinks in stadiums, cinemas, and public transportation.
It will also be possible to consume while standing in bars again. Until now, bar patrons had to remain seated to consume their drinks and were required to wear a mask at all times when moving indoors.
Finally, Wednesday will mark the reopening of nightclubs, which have been closed since December 10, 2021. These establishments will still be subject to the vaccination pass.
