FACE 06 opened its first semester of 2025 with a press conference marked by strong announcements. Objective: to support students, facilitate their professional integration, and energize university life.
Long perceived as an aging space, the Maralpin territory shows quite a different face. Nice, Cannes, and Grasse are emerging as dynamic student hubs. “This territory is being built with projects designed by and for students,” emphasized Lucas Bonfils, president of FACE 06.
To better meet expectations, two new centers are being established:
- The Orientation and Professional Integration Center, to guide young people in their academic and professional choices.
- The Culture Center, which fights against isolation by offering events accessible to everyone.
Events to bring people together
The year 2025 promises to be punctuated by significant moments. In September, the Student Welcome Day will gather 7,000 young people for an inter-campus challenge followed by a concert. On February 25, the FACE PARADE, in connection with the Nice Carnival, will allow 4,500 students to attend the carnival parade for free and enjoy a musical evening.
On the cultural side, the FACE’TIVAL, on March 20 and 21, will offer concerts, stand-up acts, and artistic performances. A free event to democratize access to culture.
Among the major announcements, the Salon Propulse, planned for April 17 at the Gare du Sud. 50 companies and 3,000 students are expected for a redesigned fair with immersive experiences. “We want to break the codes of the classic forum,” explained the head of the Integration Center.
Student engagement remains a priority. With 87 mobilized student representatives, FACE 06 plans a training weekend in March to assist them in their roles.
Solidarity and prevention: essential measures
In the face of precariousness, the federation is strengthening its action with several initiatives:
- The Agoraé, solidarity grocery stores offering products at 85% less than market price.
- The Solidarity Restaurant, open twice a week to offer free meals.
- The launch of the Agoraé Truck, a mobile grocery to assist students far from city centers.
In terms of prevention, concrete actions are being implemented: distribution of safety kits (condoms, glass covers, breathalyzers), awareness of mental health, and combating violence.
Enhanced communication to reach more students
Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn will be prioritized for information and mobilization. Partnerships with local press and student media will complement this strategy. “Every project deserves to be seen and supported,” the communications manager recalled. Objective: to increase the visibility of student initiatives and gather more participants.
With concrete projects and strong values, FACE 06 aims to make 2025 a key year for student life. Through engagement, innovation, and solidarity, the federation demonstrates that the youth of Nice are at the heart of local dynamism.
