As the Côte d’Azur Airport had announced the arrival of new destinations from Nice this year, the airline Transavia announces the opening of its new route for this summer.
A month ago, Nice Côte d’Azur Airport presented its 2022 plan on France Bleu Azur. Franck Goldnadel, the chairman of the board of the Côte d’Azur airports, announced several changes, notably the arrival of new destinations:
*”Thirteen new destinations will be available for the locals next summer. Europe, Romania, Sardinia, Iceland, but also the United States and Canada will reopen their routes.”*
Nevertheless, the ambitions of the third-largest French airport do not seem to be limited to this list, as the airline Transavia, a low-cost subsidiary of the Air France group, has announced the opening of a seasonal route. It will connect Nice with Monastir, a coastal city in Tunisia.
Every Monday and Friday between May 6th and October 28th, any local will be able to fly to the northeast of Tunisia, with one-way tickets starting at 59€. The tickets are already available for purchase.
