The European Committee of the Regions is an advisory body of the European Union that issues opinions on European legislation impacting regions and cities.
On behalf of the Region of Southern Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Magali Altounian, Deputy Mayor of Nice, will sit on the Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy and EU Budget (COTER) and will be responsible for a report on the creation of a macro-regional strategy in the Mediterranean.
She will also sit on the Commission for Economic Policy (ECON), to address issues related to the digital single market.
