The ASPTT Nice Badminton secured ten medals at the PACA Regional Youth Championships, including five championship titles. Axel Valero Pacchioni stood out with three podium finishes and remarkable endurance.
The ASPTT Nice Côte d’Azur Badminton distinguished itself at the PACA Regional Youth Championships, held on March 1st and 2nd, 2025, in Pertuis. The club came away with ten medals, including five regional champion titles. These results have allowed ASPTT Nice to climb to third place in the club rankings among the eighteen participants.
The young players from Nice demonstrated their commitment and determination on the courts. Axel Valero Pacchioni and Vadim Mary, who are part of the Aix-en-Provence Development Center, along with Elena Foudrier, particularly shone.
Axel Valero Pacchioni emerged victorious in the U17 men’s doubles with Keenan Brière and in the U17 mixed doubles with Cyrielle Nivelle. He also won a silver medal in the U17 men’s singles.
Vadim Mary claimed the title in the U15 men’s doubles with Tom Busoni and won the bronze medal in the U15 men’s singles.
Elena Foudrier excelled in the U15 women’s singles and in the U15 women’s doubles with Laureline Niedermeyer, securing two regional titles. She completed her achievements with a bronze medal in U15 mixed doubles alongside Louka De Sousa.
Other players from ASPTT Nice also made their mark in the competition. Claire Lochey became vice-champion in U17 women’s doubles with Camille Baqué. Gabriel Héron, paired with Florian Michel, took third place in Benjamin men’s doubles.
Axel Valero Pacchioni made his mark on this edition with his exceptional endurance. He played 478 minutes over two days, totaling more than eight hours on the court.
These results confirm the progress of the young players from ASPTT Nice Badminton and their commitment to the competition. The club continues to position itself among the best organizations in the region.
