The Urban Community Nice Côte d’Azur supports business creators and organizations that assist with business creation. Because tomorrow, they are the ones who will make the future Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur an exemplary territory in terms of innovation and economic and social development.
Nice Côte d’Azur supports entrepreneurs and local economic development partners who accompany them.
In 2011, seven business creation support organizations were funded by the Urban Community Nice Côte d’Azur, allowing them to support more than 700 businesses.

Among these organizations is the Nice Côte d’Azur Initiative association, which today celebrates the thousand and one businesses it has financially supported, 88% of which are still in operation after 3 years! NCA Initiative is the story of 1,892 people whose jobs were created or maintained!
A partner since 2005 of NCA Initiative, Nice Côte d’Azur contributed €192,000 to its operating budget in 2011. In 2011, the Urban Community also contributed €40,000 to the NCA Initiative loan fund to facilitate the association’s business growth.
Nice Côte d’Azur, a key player in supporting young businesses
The Urban Community created in the summer of 2008 a powerful economic development tool, entirely financed by it: the Nice Côte d’Azur Incubator. This incubator has enabled the creation of 150 jobs. In 2012, the Nice Côte d’Azur Business Incubator will become the Reception Center for Innovative Companies, which will offer a “tailor-made” system of structures and services to support innovative projects.
Nice Côte d’Azur Initiative brought together the creators it has supported so that together they could exchange on the association’s activity and their experiences in the field of business creation.
In 1´ years of activity NCI has supported 100…1 businesses and it is this symbolic number that was celebrated with well-deserved satisfaction but also with the commitment to continue to do…and do better.
